Spam, blody spam..
by Hikkemikke
Today when i downloaded my mail I got 257 "failure notice", "Undeliverable: Confirmation", "Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender", "Mail System Error - Returned Mail" and so on.. The problem is that someone is spoofing my domain name.. AND IF YOU ARE THE ONE READING THIS: I HATE YOU YOU YOUR DAMN BASTARD!!!.. I've implemented SPF, but not everyone else have.. If you are a reading this because you've received a lot of spam from my domain, please consider implementing SPF on your mail system. I've just now set my SPF to "fail". So if your system has SPF and does a lookup on mail from my domain, it should NOT accept it.. I previously had set it to "softfail", so maybe that was the reason for the spam-attack.. My vacation
by Hikkemikke
I had 4 weeks vacation, it was nice.. like balm for the soul. If it's possible to translate that Norwegian saying directly.. Here is a couple of pictures of the caravan and tent, we spent two weeks in..

We spent both weeks in Jokkmokk, here is another link to info about Jokkmokk, with a web cam.
We stayed at Jokkmokk camping center, a super camping site with a huge playground and four outdoor pools in varying sizes. Have a look at the pictures on their site.
The only drawback is there is practically no internet, you have to take the trip to a internet cafe or find a open net to steal some bandwidth from.. A short wardriving session with my psp discovered several open nets, but I tested just one, and it worked like a charm..
Even if I felt like "Kongen av campingplassen" (The King of the Campground), with the large Sævsjø caravan borrowed from my wife's parents. I must admit I was impressed with this campingbus, or should I say trailer..
I's build on a Mercedes Actros chassis and looked wery impressive..
It had a garage in the back where he kept a two-seater Peugeot car.. I did'nt take a picture of that, but here is a picture from the net of a similar solution.

very very impressive indeed.. I did't see his wife, so I can't tell if she was big like his camper..
Had a trip to Kirkenes
by Hikkemikke
Earlier this week I had a trip to Kirkenes, my first trip so far north in our lovely country.. I've been farther north for sure, but not on the mainland. I've been to svalbard, and further north by boat.. But this time my job took me to Kirkenes..
We went with Widerøe, and they use the small turboprop dash planes, witch also was a new experience to me.. But anyways, we came there Sunday night, witch is no problem, the sun shines 24/7 this time of year, and booked in at Rica Arctic Hotel, a very nice hotel. The taxi driver gave us a nice briefing about the sights we passed, and mentioned their shipyard, Kimek.
One of the largest climate controlled shipyards in the north.
I couldn't sleep with my window open, because every few minutes a car drove by, with a rather large stereo, witch of course the owner obviously where very proud over. I even got a picture of it..

very strange behaviour, there were only two cars, driving around and around, No peoples in the streets. Here is the other car..

.. Yes I know.. its a Vectra..
Maybe, I was the weirdo, sitting here taking pictures of them with my phone, I don't know..
Another thing witch is rather special with Kirkenes is the road signs. In Tromsø is there hardly any road signs.. But here they have double up most places..
Never seen such a ting before..
